Delta-V is Spacebourne's scholar and internship program for emerging engineers and researchers. Scholars work on real problems in orbital RF intelligence, mission software, and edge-AI payloads, with mentorship from the team building CLARITY.
The orbital economy is scaling faster than the workforce trained to run it. Delta-V closes that gap by giving emerging engineers real exposure to the hardest problems in satellite communications and spectrum intelligence, not busywork. Scholars join a team building production systems for live operators, learn from senior leadership, and earn recognition for work that matters.
The program runs across two tracks, Explorer and Navigator, and outstanding contributions earn the Delta-V Capstone Award.
Hands-on exposure to orbital mechanics, RF propagation physics, and mission software foundations for students and early-career researchers. Scholars work alongside Spacebourne engineers on real problems in spectrum intelligence and satellite operations.
Direct mentorship with Spacebourne senior engineering leadership. Navigators tackle advanced research in spectrum intelligence, edge-AI payloads, and predictive modeling, with a path toward a full-time role.
Contribute to the forecasting models that predict where and when satellite RF interference will occur.
Build and refine the scheduling and mission planning tools operators use every day.
Explore compute at the edge, including the GALILEO Cube edge-AI CubeSat program.
Scholars who deliver exceptional work during the program earn the Delta-V Capstone Award, recognizing a project that advanced Spacebourne's mission. Capstone recipients are highlighted to leadership and considered first for full-time engineering roles.
